Musical Baton
Will passed me the Musical Baton, so here goes.

Total volume of music files on my computer: 4267 songs / 13 days, 32 minutes, 26 seconds / 20.21 GB. And I'm only halfway through uploading my CDs. I'm jealous of Will's shared iTunes network.

The last CD I bought was: Dave Matthews Band, Stand Up, and Rob Thomas, Something to Be, in the same transaction last weekend.

Song playing right now: Tori Amos, “Sweet the Sting.” There can never be too much Tori.

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):
(Just five is tough. Really tough. Music is such a part of the fabric of my life. [Or is that cotton? I forget.] I could do this every day for a year and come up with a different list.)
Peter Gabriel, "Solsbury Hill" (or pretty much anything by Peter Gabriel)
Peter Murphy, "Cuts You Up"
The Church, "Under the Milky Way"
Toad the Wet Sprocket, "Nightingale Song"
Steve Winwood, "Arc of a Diver"

I am a child of the 80s.

I'm passing the baton to: Amy (who also recently linked to the brilliant Store Wars that I haven't gotten around to linking here yet), Denise (the first person I knew to get an MP3 player), and Tim (who is the person I know who most recently got an iPod but who is probably way too busy with fighting the Evil Empire to grab it).
