where did summer go?
It seems like summer had only begun when it ended. Tonight I find myself closing windows completely, rather than leaving them cracked open as I would on cooler summer evenings. I pulled out the extra blanket a couple of days ago, too. Still haven't been able to beef up that thin Hawaii-induced blood.

I have been overwhelmed with work lately, but am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Despite the lack of abundant free time, it's been a great couple of weeks, for the most part. I spent the weekend days taking two more of Susan's workshops. That's always a recipe for a fantastic weekend. Tim was back in town briefly last week before he headed off to Wisconsin to fight the good fight, and we lifted a few glasses to celebrate. We found a great little hidden place in Tremont that I look forward to returning to again.
