Tim and I went out for a cocktail after my alumni board meeting yesterday. He was telling me about the reaction he received from the Kerry organization to his Salon.com article, and how that reaction is so indicative of the problems within the Democratic organizations in this state. I told him that the reaction was interesting to me, as the "apolitical friend," and that he really should start a blog to be able to share stuff like that. Apparently my arguments that a blog, handled well, won't cannibalize his nascent op-ed career, but could indeed enhance it, convinced him, because here it is: Ohio Countdown 2004.
