Someone is using this domain name to send out spam, and it's really pissing me off. For the past two weeks or so my in-box has been jammed with hundreds and hundreds of returned mail notices for things that I had nothing to do with. There's not much that I can do about it, since they're not actually routing mail through my server as far as I can tell, but simply using gibberish@virtuallori.com as their "from" address. What is mystifying to me is the sheer variety of spam messages being sent out. Whoever is doing this is apparently the Wal-Mart of spammers, seeing how they're sending a little bit of everything. Or, rather, a lot of everything. I just don't want my domain to end up on a blacklist. That happened when I had a university address, and it made doing business very difficult for a while. I understand the theory behind blacklisting, but there are more than a few cases where it does more harm than good.

In other news, I'm enjoying this week of relative calm before the storm. A project I was expecting to receive last week ended up being postponed until mid-June, so now June is going to be a crazy, crazy month for me. I'm using this week to catch up on little things around the office and minor house and personal projects, so there will be fewer distractions when the deluge starts next week.
