Finally, I have a day that I can spend doing all the little piddly catch-up stuff that needs to be done around here: paying bills, storing away (some) of the winter clothes, cleaning up the office, returning e-mails, giving this site a long overdue and much needed nudge toward my ambitions for it, reading a few chapters of Tim's latest iteration of his book, sending in my Publishers Clearing House entry, skimming the last week's worth of newspapers -- you get the idea. Still, somehow that feels almost like a vacation to me. These little things brew around in the back of my mind while I'm trying to get the big things done, and it will be a relief to release some of them into the Land of Done.
Last evening's Cool Cleveland A/T/D party was a whole lot of fun. In addition to hanging out with both old and new friends, I met some great new people. I'm constantly amazed at how small Cleveland is, really. Everyone knows just about everyone else, and many times through multiple channels.
Now off to tackle the project mishmash . . .
