When I wrote last, life was great. Life is still great, but the relationship I was so happy about has come to an end. I'm mostly okay about it now after struggling through a couple of weeks of despair, but I'm still at a loss to understand how things could change so dramatically so quickly. Still, you can't make someone feel something they don't, so, onward. I miss having him in my life, though.
So many people are writing about the gay marriage issue, and writing about it well in thought-provoking ways. I can't compete, so I'll just link to the best of what I've read and add that I truly don't understand why anyone would want to deny the pursuit of happiness to ANY couple in love, and that the "argument" (for which I have yet to see any coherent backup) that gay marriage somehow threatens heterosexual marriage is a total crock of shit.
