Yegads, I hate these first few days of the fall daylight savings switch. At 6:30 I was absolutely convinced that it must be at least midnight. Fortunately for my to-do list, it wasn't. Still, I feel like I'm living in a time warp. The gray and the rain don't help much, either.

I have an actual job interview tomorrow. As good as self-employment is in some ways (time flexibility, lack of familiarity with the pantyhose aisle of the drugstore, not having to take on work you don't want to, working with the cat on my lap), it really sucks in others (paying all of the health insurance bill, unpredictable income stream, lack of human interaction, difficulty in keeping up on new developments in the field). It's time to get back into the "real" world, at least for a while, and take some time to figure out what I really want to be when I grow up.
