Fall is officially here. I've just turned the furnace on. I brought the slippers out of the back of the closet last night. The sky has gone that patented Cleveland-steel gray, and nongreen leaves are starting to appear on the lawn. I've worn a sweater or sweatshirt every day for the past week. I have an overwhelming urge to make soup for dinner tonight, and I baked a pan of gingerbread last night. Yes, it's definitely fall.
