Lots of random thoughts today.

And I thought I had a lot of weird foliage in my yard... I present Amorphophallus titanum.

I'd say that Darby Conley is channeling Berke Breathed, but Mr. Breathed is still among the living.

Ordered a pair of shorts from Title 9 Sports (one of my favorite places to shop) several months ago. Fell completely in love. They're discontinued, so Title 9 doesn't have them any more, but found one last place with a stash: Altrec.com. Ordered four pair -- two in each of the two colors they had left -- at a bargain price on Tuesday afternoon. They arrived today. I am so happy.

Yesterday was a pretty sucky day, except for book group. Good food and good conversation, as usual, and a view from the hills of the lightning storm out over the ocean. And I got to actually touch a 20th Anniversary Mac. Briefly. On the corner of the case. Wow, it's pretty.

I haven't had any interesting items in my referrer log lately. Mostly people looking for specific hotels that I mention in the My Hawaii pages and people looking for information on Stefanie Eulinberg, who was a high school classmate and is now the hot-shit drummer for Kid Rock. (Cool woman, by the way, and a fantastic musician.) She's mentioned in the BHS alumni pages.

My archive pages are a mess, and are going to stay that way until after I get back from vacation and have the time to figure out how to fix them.
