I have all kinds of things to say about this article, but I just don’t have the time. Probably a good thing for you, because it angers me on so many different levels that my writing about it would likely be completely incoherent.

Denise sent me this link to a picture of the Seattle earthquake recorded in the tracing of a pendulum in sand. It’s quite beautiful, don’t you think?

The big move is Saturday, and I think we’re pretty well prepared. We still don’t have a new phone number because of procrastination on our part and and others’ parts. But most everything is packed and ready to go, and we have a great bunch of helpers lined up. And the two really big, awkward pieces are already moved.

The real estate agent for the house we’re in now has an offer. Believe it or not.
