The road to Lori's house is paved with good intentions. The scans are done, just not posted. I've decided that the photo album pages need to be reformatted, so I'll be spending tonight working on that. I promise SOMETHING tonight, even if it's temporarily kinda ugly.

The party Friday night was a great time. The honoree was appropriately tipsy and joyful, the crowd was big and friendly, and the alcohol and food were tasty and plentiful. As an added bonus, I found out that the party house may be available to rent in March. It's probably twice as big as our place and slightly less expensive, plus it has a huge yard and is right across the street from where I work. It would literally be closer for me to walk to my office from the front door of this place than it would be to walk from where I usually end up parking. Can you say "lunchtime respite?"

Mom keeps bugging me for a picture of the new haircut. A reasonable request, that. But it made me realize yesterday that it has been a month since the cut, and that it's time for a trim. THEN I'll have someone snap a picture and send it along. (The driver's license picture I had taken Friday isn't very flattering, although the hair looks good.)
