Mele Kalikimaka!

Mom & Jim are taking the laptop over to Papa's a little later to show him my webpage, so hi, Papa! (Mom, make sure you show him the Christmas in Hawaii album.)

I just started some water for tea (it's a nippy 65 F this early in the morning around here), and will start preparing to go to the beach in a little bit. I was a little worried when I first got up that it might be cloudy today, thus thwarting my plans to take pictures of myself at the beach to make all of you Clevelanders in the 11 F weather jealous, but it looks like it's going to be nice. The few clouds out there are high and wispy.

Nothing like almond crescents and tea for Christmas day breakfast.

I knew that the Grinch-hand cancellations the post office is using were a bad omen. The Christmas package Mom mailed a couple of weeks ago is still not here. So, not only do I get to spend Christmas on my own, but I have nothing to open (Kevin & I won't open until he gets back, maybe tomorrow or Wednesday). As I told Mom, the beach is my one compensation today.

I ran just a little short of one of the tiles I was using on the mosaic table last night, so now I have to order more before I can finish it. It looks pretty good, though.

I went with some friends to see Miss Congeniality on Saturday and really enjoyed it. It was silly and predictable, but sometimes that's all I want in a movie.
