Yes, I've done it again (although I -- thank God -- am not Britney Spears). I've messed with the webpage. Got lost in the game.
I spent a ton of time late last month and earlier this month working on a new design (you can still see the remnants of it in the BHS pages), and in the end decided I didn't like it very much. It was kinda boring and was really difficult to change when got a hankering to add categories.
So, for the second time in a month, let me know what you think about the new design, and, of course, if you run into any broken links or other problems.

Speaking of Britney, Fox filmed a TV special with her here in Hawaii a few months ago. As a curious gal with a background in journalism and an interest in how reality is necessarily distorted through the media, I had to go down to the beach to "see" the show, then watched the special to see what they did with what I "saw." I'm using quotes here because unless you were within 20 feet of the stage, you couldn't see a damn thing, even the video screen.
The concert was free, and attracted every 11-year-old girl in the state along with a fair share of 15-to-17-year-old boys. Most of the rest of us were there for curiousity, not because we're fans.
The performance was very disjointed, I suppose to allow for all the costume changes. Britney would perform a song, go backstage, then come out 10-15 minutes later and perform another song in a different outfit. She peformed a couple of the songs twice.
The finished program was interesting to watch, in the same way MTV's Real World Hawaii was -- for the editing. If you paid close attention to one of the first songs in the special, you can tell that it's a splice of two peformances of the same song.
[Real World Hawaii had a lot of driving around scenes that were cobbled together from different parts of the island and made to look like a continuous conversation. If you know Oahu, though, you'll recognize the scenery and see that you can't say Thing One in the car with Hawaii Kai in the background and 30 seconds later say Thing Two near the airport. ]
Britney would do well to get some voice coaching so that she doesn't sound so fakey-whiny when she talks.
